Life teaches you all the time,
How to cope up in your hard times.
In my room I learnt lessons of life,
Every object was teaching, chapter, how to survive.
The curtains said, keep your dreams covered,
Keep working, till its real and discovered.
The floor told me to be grounded,
I should be rooted deep, not fly astounded,
The roof taught me to aspire high,
Like an eagle, I should fly.
The windows said open me for fresh air,
Let new ideas come in, to teach me to dare.
Mirror said hey, you compete with me,
Your success is, when you beat me.
The calculator said, you have a date,
Don’t give up; complete your work at any rate.
The clock on the wall said, I am precious,
Don’t waste any time be conscious.
The ac in room said, relax and cool,
Don’t take anxiety and stress, like a fool.
Every electric wire was full of energy,
Inspiring to work with power and synergy.
The different color of walls taught me shades of life,
Dark or light we have to learn to thrive.
A lizard on the wall said, cling to your goals,
Be strong, don’t deviate your roles.
The TV said, I am mute though I can speak,
Be a silent listener, advice you can seek.
The bulb in my room was sparking bright,
Teaching me to sharpen my career with courage to fight.
The door was open, waiting for opportunity,
If it does not come, build a new door you have the capability…
