My school after lockdown,
Is full of new changes we found.
When we entered the school gate,
There was a shower of sanitizer fumigate.
We had to come to class in a queue,
With social distancing circles few.
The class looked big and vacant,
As we occupied alternate seat reluctant.
There were no assemblies in the hall,
The PAS made the prayer call.
We were all wearing mask,
Breathing through it was a difficult task.
Worst was my beautiful teacher all covered,
Looked weird, with mask, gloves we discovered.
We could not gossip, we had no friends,
Anxiously we wanted for classes to end.
No games, the grounds were deserted,
We had online games on screen connected.
Frequently we had to wash our hands,
All teachers policing us on every stand.
Next day will be a holiday,
As there were odd, even classes on alt day.
We could not share our food with others,
Sitting in one place with masks bothers.
The school closed early with online home work,
We were checked, by thermal instrument by school clerk.
The school buses had children few,
We were seated far in a queue.
No parents were allowed in the school,
We had to carry our own things as a rule.
Covid leave our country and go away,
We want to throw our mask and play.
