THE KITE THAT FIGHTS
We all feel happy seeing a kite flying, but have you ever been inspired by the kite? A kite teaches us many lessons, some I would like to share with you all.
The kite can be black or colorful, it accepts it’s personality as given by its creator. It is so frail, yet it takes up the challenge against the strong winds. It flies high in the sky and makes its creator feel proud, spreading smiles on the faces of its onlookers. It teaches us love and sacrifice.
The kite is governed by the person who is flying it, with the help of kite flying string. It is far away from the flier, high in the sky and keeps rising higher and higher, as desired by the flier. Suddenly it encounters another kite in the sky and soon a war arises in the sky. Other kites also join in the war, to defeat all others and rule the sky. So the fight begins and our kite, in spite of being wounded many times, comes out the winner!!
Once it reigns in the sky, it looks down on the people admiring it and smiles happily, as if to convey that perseverance and constant efforts result in victory. It feels happy to see children and adults together, enjoying it sailing smoothly in the sky. But the life of our kite is not permanent, as all humans life comes to an end one day. Life span varies, some die earlier than others whereas some are bestowed with longer life span.
Coming back to the story of our kite, on one of its numerous flights, it was badly wounded, yet fought very bravely till the end. Then it drifted away from its owner, into the lap of clouds and soon became invisible to all, towards its unknown destination. Its stories of valiant bravery are still sung by its owner with pride.
So we must all look up to the kite in awe. Being fragile, yet so brave. The key factor is commitment.
