Oh spring don’t come so fast,
I want my winters to last.
The icy cold white winter sheet,
The cold breeze, piercing our body and feet.
What a lovely cup of tea,
Steaming toast near a frozen sea.
The trees and leaves all so charmed,
While snow cover all so hard.
The glacier has started moving down,
Melting of ice from the spring crown.
The newer leaves all so green,
Give us hope of life with bright shein.
I can see and feel the nip in the air,
Vanishing of snow which was fair.
The birds are chirping in to blooming flower,
A healthy scene not so far.
The bees are ready to collect the honey,
Humming their song in garden sunny.
The frozen sea is gradually transforming,
A blue blanket of water all so warming.
Now a time to say goodbye to winter chill,
The spring bouquet with lots of thrill.
The pine is no more white,
We can see the sun so bright.
The weather from silence to noise,
The humming birds so poise.
The carpet of colourful flowers,
All fruits laden with lemon sour.
Spring tells us how beautiful is life?
Change for good and survive…
