THE MIRROR OF LIFE
Every morning, it’s a routine that you in the look mirror and find a reflection smiling back at you, inspiring you to get ready for work. You stand there in front of the mirror and a film run through your mind, depicting good and bad stories of the past. The mirror coaxes you to put on some makeup and get ready to move on with your work.
This makeup is for the time lost in the past and it reminds you to use your time judiciously and in a productive manner. On looking closely, you find some dark spots on your otherwise pleasant face. These dark spots attribute to a disturbed sleep perhaps. You may have had a verbal fight or an argument with a loved one, the night before. So take this opportunity and clear all misunderstandings of the past and hug that person before you leave for work.
Some dark lines on your cheek depict the stress you are undergoing………… you have not laughed heartily for quite some time. To relieve stress, try some easy exercises and you will find yourself smiling again happily.
After powdering your face with perfect makeup, start out for your office, greeting and smiling at everyone you meet on the way, even though they be complete strangers. A smile costs nothing, whereas, it works magical wonders……
Time for you to return home. You would be tired but do spend some time with the family, ask them about how they spent the day and what all happened. A little personal attention would alleviate their belonging feeling.
And now its time for shut-eye. You are again face-to-face with the mirror, brushing your teeth before hitting the bed. That same mirror looks straight into your eyes and congratulates you for having spent your day so pleasantly and purposefully. You raise your hands in prayer to the Almighty for having given you such a wonderful gift of LIFE.
The mirror sees and records all what
you do in LIFE……..
