We all make mistakes,
But do we hide, or own up is our take.
Often our mistakes are unintentional,
Its influenced by facts, Purely conditional.
Mistakes are often taken seriously,

We are not pardoned generously.
Mistakes are defined deliberate action.
Even if we say sorry we are victim of strong reaction.
Often we tend to forget birthdays,
You are culprit with non bailable worst day.
We are never given a chance to explain
People just get angry, explanation refrained
Mistakes can be pardoned once,
But if repeated its decision conscious.
Mistakes are for learning not repeating,

If you keep doing it, its cheating.
A Word of caution here,
Listen to the person, potentially hear.
Sometimes the person is genuinely honest,
Give them a chance, overlook, be modest.
In a marriage, there are fights over, smallest issues,
Pointing each other’s mistakes, tension grew.
Can we flip the situation and be open,
Forgiving the person, opportunities reopen.
Unintentional mistakes are often mistakes,
Accessing each other no point taken.
So forgive not because they deserved,
It’s because you want peace, to be preserved.

Forgiveness has the power to heal,
So be the first one love you seal
So avoid intentional mistakes.
In life there are no retakes…
