Why do we celebrate Women’s day?
I was left in dismay.
Why should we have a day celebrated?
For our lifelong work, we are validated.
We are strong and we are unique,
We have enjoyed a career and its peak.
Its for men to understand,
Our strength they have to comprehend.
Where there is a woman there is magic,
With us, life cannot be tragic.
Women succeed and inspire,
We don’t conspire.
Keep your head and heel high and tall,
Ensure that your crown does not fall……
